OUR HISTORY

Community leaders began organizing in 1976. The first concert series launched in 1977–78. The Moosomin and District Arts Council (Madac) incorporated on April 7, 1978. The Lyric Theatre was purchased in February 1990 and renamed to the Moosomin Community Theatre. MADAC fosters and promotes opportunities for people in our region to participate in and enjoy artistic events. We serve as the umbrella for the Moosomin Community Theatre, Moosomin Visual Arts Centre and the Mooseberry Acting Company.
MADAC is a member of OSAC, the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils.
